A musician first.

I'm a musician first. As a live and studio guitarist, and as the guitarist of Venona out of Buffalo, NY, I've spent my time on stages and in recording rooms with hands‑on experience in the music industry.

I'm also a self‑taught music producer. Everything I know about recording, arranging and mixing I learned by doing it — by ear, by trial and error, and by asking a lot of questions of people further along than me. Friends who have built careers in production showed me what was possible, and now I'm taking a leap into the software side, with great hope and ambition.

Blue Beard Audio is that leap: a one‑person plugin company where every plugin is designed, coded and tested by me.

That means the things I care about as a player and a producer are the things that get built — how a control feels under your hand, whether a sound sits right in a mix, whether you can get somewhere good without reading a manual first. Greenbelt Delay is the first release.
